Radon testing is a critical aspect of the Inspection process during a Real Estate transaction. Radon is an colorless and odorless radioactive gas that comes from the breakdown of Uranium in the land below and around the house. The concern in the house is that the Radon molecules breaks down within our lungs damaging the lining within our lungs. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer. It is estimated that Radon is responsible for over 21,000 deaths annually.

We are trained by InterNachi and American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists to conduct this testing and evaluate Radon Mitigation systems. The EPA suggests that the home is evaluated for Radon mitigation of the results of the test in a home is 4.0 pCi/L or higher.
